Tillicum Bridge Current
If you are planning to paddle on the Gorge Water Way, you have to know what the current is doing under the Tillicum Bridge. On strong ebb, the current can run up to 9 knots so it is a good idea to check the following web site, Gorge-Tillicum Bridge, before putting in from VCKC. Other wise, you may have to carry your boat across the bridge back to the parking lot. - MAP -
Baynes Channel
Baynes Channel currents can be calculated by using current charts for Race Rocks. Multiply the Race Rocks current speed by 0.75 and subtract 15 minutes. Race Rock is also know as Race Passage at http://tbone.biol.sc.edu/tide/sites_allcurrent.html
